COMPANY - Industry Leadership

CEO, Lance Cyphers, joined the team at Dexter Design and Development in 1990, bringing an extensive background in prototyping as a specialist in fixtures and tooling for the computer industry. In 1995, Lance assumed control of operations and continued to drive efficiencies in prototype machining. As a Native American, Lance’s pride in ownership and stewardship for the company, his employees and his community have played an important role as he has continued to balance the need for high performance and efficiency, with compassion and service.

Vice President and Production Manager, Tim Walsh has a long history of CNC machining specifically for the aerospace industry. He launched Absolute Precision in 1987 as an independent machine shop operating out of his garage, but quickly expanded and grew, opening his first machining facility in 1990. By 1997, under the name Top Tech International, Tim’s company was acquiring other machine shops to further expand capabilities and serve a more diverse clientele. In 2002, as a well-established and respected machine shop, Top Tech International merged with Dexter Designs and further solidified the company’s place as a leading high-precision CNC machining company.
